Version 7.1.1 2025-05-08

This is a small release, containing an updated version of OVMF firmware which reverts a commit to resolve an issue that prevents certain VMs (Fedora, Debian, Rocky, other CentOS based distros) from starting. See also this discussion.

Known issues​

Avoid using the recent "mover empty disk" feature on 7.1.0 and 7.1.1, it does not handle split levels on shares correctly and can lead to data loss. Normal mover functionality is safe, although it also ignores split levels. The fix will be published on Sat May 10.
